Getting started

What is MemberPress.ai?

MemberPress.ai is the AI that helps membership owners spend their week with their members. It sets up your WordPress site by conversation and does what you ask.

Connecting your site

One free plugin, one approval: install MemberPress AI, click Connect, and approve once on MemberPress.ai. It needs MemberPress on the site.

Creating your account and signing in

Sign up with Google or email, sign in with Google, GitHub or a password, and reset a forgotten password.

The MemberPress AI plugin in wp-admin

Find MemberPress AI in wp-admin, learn its six tabs, and see what works before you connect a MemberPress.ai account.

Start here: your MemberPress AI walkthroughs

Follow the guides in order: connect your site, review drafts, read your reports and manage AI access. Each step names what to check.

Your sites: connections and switching between sites

See your connected sites, sync one now, add another, and switch which site the app is looking at.

Set and update your business profile

Save a declared business profile, reopen it to check the choices, and clear it when that context no longer applies.

Which changes ask you to confirm

Changes preview first and new content lands as a draft. A connected AI agent can only add drafts. Publishing one takes your own confirmation.

Recipes: guided setup, one step at a time

A recipe is a guided multi-step setup MemberPress.ai walks through with you — it knows the steps and checks your site as you go.

Setting up membership drafts with Opal

Watch Opal prepare membership levels, supporting pages and an empty course shell for an owner to review.

Asking the assistant in the app

The assistant in your MemberPress.ai account answers from your site's synced data, remembers what you tell it, and on paid can place drafts on your site.

Ask Opal to remember and forget a business fact

Save a business fact through chat, check it in a fresh conversation, and remove that exact fact when it changes.

Plugin settings: connection, content writing, members and privacy

Use Settings in wp-admin to connect your site, choose who MemberPress AI writes as, and manage erasure forwarding and the cancellation survey.

Account settings

Manage your profile, email preferences, how the assistant talks to you, and signing out other devices.

Achievements

Earn badges as you connect your site and use the advisor. See your progress in Achievements; earned badges are yours to keep.

Other ways to use it

Connect your AI agent to MemberPress.ai

Work on your membership site from the AI you already use. Which agents connect today, which are coming, and what each connection can do.

Connect Claude to MemberPress.ai

Connect Claude (claude.ai, Claude Desktop or Claude Code) to your membership site and your MemberPress.ai account, step by step.

Connect ChatGPT to MemberPress.ai

Connect ChatGPT to your MemberPress.ai account, choose what it may do, and disconnect it when you like, step by step.

Review Codex setup for MemberPress.ai

Find the advisor server commands in Settings and review the permission flow before connecting Codex.

Connect Grok to MemberPress.ai

Give Grok, through the xAI API, an access key to your MemberPress.ai account, step by step.

Using MemberPress.ai from your own AI client

Connect a supported AI assistant to your site or to your MemberPress.ai account, and see exactly what it can read, do, and never do.

Talk to Opal from your own AI agent

Opal helps membership owners get answers and get back to their members. Point your own agent at her over A2A: card, endpoint, two skills and a request to run.

Pocket: MemberPress.ai on your phone

Pocket is the phone app. You install it from your browser, then sign in on the phone or approve it from a computer where you are already signed in.

AI crawlers and AI search: what bots get from your site

Give AI bots a clean text copy of your public pages, or block them, by group or one bot at a time.

Share your public catalog with AI

One public address where any AI can read your memberships and courses, prices and sign-up links, and nothing about members.

Agent payments: let an AI assistant buy a membership

An AI assistant can buy a membership for a person after they approve the price. Stripe test mode only, and it works on every plan.

List your memberships for AI agents in your own Stripe account

Let AI shopping assistants find and describe your memberships through Stripe agentic commerce. Visitors still join on your own site.

Understanding your data

Building courses with MemberPress.ai

MemberPress.ai drafts real MemberPress courses, lessons, and quizzes in the exact structure the plugin needs, placed on your site as drafts.

Reviewing a blog post draft

Check a saved post's title, opening text and status, then find it again in Content.

Review a generated post and its photos

Check the brief, credit quote, saved draft and every selected photo before publishing an AI-generated post.

Reviewing a member FAQ draft

Prepare a FAQ page, check its credit quote and review its answers before publishing.

Generations: your content history and queue

Every generation job, including running and failed ones, plus a queue of topics to write next. Credits are charged only on success. It's a Pro feature.

Syncing, and what an answer is 'as of'

Answers use a synced copy of your site. Free syncs every 30 days; paid defaults to daily with other schedules available. Check when it last synced.

Add and remove a queued content topic

Plan a post or page in Generations without starting content generation.

Copy text from a generated draft

Open a completed generation, copy its text and review it before reusing it.

Reviewing and publishing drafts in wp-admin

The Content tab lists what MemberPress AI wrote for your site, lets you preview it, and publishes it when you choose. Failed drafts retry with no charge.

Your dashboard

Memberships, members, churn and recent transactions for a connected site, each carrying the sync state it was read at.

Insights: what changed this week

A weekly headline on what moved on your site, plus a this-week-versus-last table. Pro can ask what drove it.

Check the sources behind an answer

Open the citations behind an Opal answer and compare its claims with the documentation before changing your site.

Understand historical site records

Read the definitions behind historical records before comparing them with a weekly report.

Find earlier chats in WordPress

Search and reopen an existing conversation in the MemberPress AI plugin.

Review the WordPress drafts tray

Find saved content, check its status and open it for review from the plugin.

Read notifications in WordPress

Filter plugin notifications and tell a draft-ready notice from a sync update.

Ready? Connect your site and tell Opal what you sell. She sets up your Join and Checkout pages and tells you what’s left before your first payment, like connecting your own Stripe or PayPal.
